I spent countless hours at the Umbach’s. My memories of being at their home are… heck, I don’t have the right words. But I will say this, the Umbach’s are as dear to me as my own family. Mrs. Umbach always had a smile and made all of us welcomed, and at home, even when we were up to no good. Which of course, was seldom (wink). I’m sending lots of love…and as fate would have it, I’m here in town this week, so I will save my virtual hugs, love and memories for the real thing when I see you Thursday. Tons of love!!!

My fondest childhood memories by far were all those Sundays our families spent together in either Brooklyn or Long Island. Who can ever forget those huge Italian dinner feasts?! 🍝 🍷 The laughter. Endless banter. I think we all miss those wonderful, simpler times. I can only remember Aunt Nancy with that radiant smile. She always exuded cheerfulness. Just a beautiful soul. Dearest cousins, I am soooo truly sorry for your loss. Our loss. May she rest in peace 🙏
