Nancy Umbach passed away peacefully on August 9, 2025, at the age of 93.

Born in Italy, Nancy was a gentle, caring, and kind-hearted woman who brought warmth and comfort to everyone around her. She was known for her warm smile and great laugh, brightening any room she entered. Nancy had a beautiful singing voice and would thrill any audience with her heartfelt rendition of I Left My Heart In San Francisco.

Her love for gardening, sewing, cooking, and golfing reflected her joyful spirit and zest for life. She had a quiet strength and a generous soul that touched the lives of all who knew her. Her love for her family was unwavering, and her presence was a steady and comforting part of our lives.

Nancy was married to the love of her life, Charlie Umbach, for 62 years until his passing in 2018. Their enduring partnership was a source of inspiration and a testament to lifelong devotion, filled with laughter, resilience, and deep affection.

She is deeply loved and will be dearly missed by her sons, Richard Umbach and Michael Umbach; her daughters-in-law, Hui Umbach and Lisa Brooking; and her grandson, John Umbach.

We are grateful for the many years we had with her, and we will carry her memory with us in the everyday moments and simple acts of love she showed so effortlessly.
