As a friend of Frank for over 30 years, I found him to be of great intellect and integrity. He did not know a little about a lot, but rather a lot about a lot! The beauty of this was that Frank was always generous and quick to share his knowledge with any who asked. He showed me how to be a better skier, better archer, better trap shooter, a better fisherman and a better boater. Frank, my friend, you will be sorely missed by all of the many you have touched. Condolences to Sally, Alex, Christian and Ashton. Rest in peace.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of your beloved Frank. The Butler Family had such wonderful memories of our trips together. We shared a common bond with 2 sons each who all learned so much from Frank. No matter what the subject matter was, He was an extremely bright guy who loved sharing his knowledge. We were the lucky ones to be on the receiving end.
Frank, your party-on outlook was applaudable. You always brought a smile to anyone around you, especially on the dance floor!
Heaven has truly gained a great man. We have lost an amazing friend who will be forever remembered. . 💔😢💔

I didn’t get to spend enough time with Frank, but I always looked forward to seeing him & Sally whenever I had the chance. He was always such a character and a joy to be around. His joyous spirit and quirky qualities are evident in the most lovable ways in Christian, and I’m sure will persist in his memory and honor. Sending all my love and support to Sally, the Gallo boys & Ashton - all whom I know he loved dearly.

Words cannot describe how much we are missing Frank. We are finding joy in these pictures and I hope you do too. I was so lucky to have him as my family and my partner in crime. We will take good care of the farm for you this summer Mr. Gallo. Every tomato will be for you.

I had the good fortune to know Frank not only as a neighbor for well over forty years but later in retirement as a sailing companion, Skeet & Trap shooter and good friend. His knowledge and energy were boundless as were his interests. Thanks for the white anchovies. Walter

I was lucky enough to have known Frank through my wife Elizabeth. I saw him maybe once a year or so. He was always the most intelligent person at the table. He had a gift of always listening and respecting what you had to say which is a rare quality these day. God rest his soul.

As a new member of the GC Ski Club I had the good fortune of skiing with Frank at a few locations upstate this past winter. At 80 he was very enthusiastic about skiing. We were even making plans to head up to Mt Tremblant in Jan ahead of the planned GC event. For the short time I have known I can’t say enough nice things about him. May he rest in peace. I will miss him.

Whenever Peter and I spent time together with the Gallo clan there were good times. I am so grateful to have known Frank. He was always very kind and thoughtful to me.

We have shared so many memories with Sally and Frank over the years--we will miss Frank terribly... He taught us so many things along the way, from how to shoot skeet, to properly trimming the sails, to his technique for growing tomatoes. He had a breadth of knowledge that was amazing--a mere mention of the beautiful stars out in the evening would send him into a lesson on the constellations! We so treasured all the time we shared together. Dance on Frank--rest in peace with a nice martini in hand!! We loved you so much...

Cousin Frank was not only a relative but a very close friend. Good times together with him and family, and always lots of laughs. Will deeply miss him.

Every single person at Oakcliff Sailing who met Frank, loved him, was impressed by him and learned from him. He is already seriously missed and will be for a long time. We express our sincere condolences to his whole family and all of the thousands inspired by his knowledge and his smile. Most of us will be racing the Around Block Island Race at the time of the services, but will be sending strength remotely.

My Uncle was more than just an Uncle; he was like a second father to me. Our family spent almost every Christmas together, filled with laughter and good times. He was always kind to me, and I have so many fond memories of our time together. One of the most special moments was last Christmas when we flew to New York so everyone could meet my son. I will forever cherish that holiday.

I always enjoyed my talks with Frank…always around family at various events. He had a genuine way with meaningful conversation. Overcoming so many health obstacles - he was a miracle in many ways. God bless his family and friends - take care of your heart (literally and figuratively). ❤️

I met Frank at the trap range in Yaphank on 2017 & found out we lived around the corner from each other in Garden City. I moved from GC but met regularly with him @ the trap ranges & had lunch together afterwards. I considered Frank one of my closest friends. He & Sally invited me to celebrate Christmas Eve with their family every year. I actually spoke to Frank Monday night @ 5:00 and he reviewed his recent leg stents and another procedure and was waiting to hear from Dr. Robertson about getting a new heart valve. His loss is a tragedy. He was the nicest guy, with a wonderful family and he will be missed.

Happy days with my cousin. We will all miss our laughs together 😀
